Calendar and dates
The Nepali calendar and date converter use a month-length table for BS 1975 to 2090 that we cross-checked against several independent sources. Years after the latest calendar published by Nepal’s calendar committee are projections and may differ by a day once the official calendar is released. Lunar festivals such as Dashain and Tihar are not listed, and public holidays can be added or changed by the government at short notice. Always confirm important dates, such as exams, court dates or official deadlines, with an official source.
Text conversion
The Romanized typing tool and the Preeti and Unicode converters follow standard mappings and are tested on many real words. Unusual spellings, rare conjuncts or text typed in other legacy fonts may not convert perfectly. Please proofread important documents before printing or submitting them.
Fonts and images
Font names belong to their respective owners. Bundled fonts are open-licence fonts. Fonts added by the site owner are offered on the understanding that the owner has the right to share them. Check a font’s licence before using images commercially.
