How the bill is calculated
- A minimum (service) charge depends on your meter size and the total units you used.
- An energy charge is added slab by slab: the first units at the lowest rate, the next units at the next rate, and so on.
- Paying early earns a small rebate; paying late adds a surcharge.
Three-phase, commercial and industrial connections use other tariffs. Your bill from NEA is the final word.
